Somewhere in the heart of the Medina, behind a heavy, centuries-old wooden door, hides a small patio decorated with green and blue mosaics. In its center, the cool water of a pretty marble fountain quivers. Languid among friends on comfortable cushions, we enjoy listening to the song of the birds chirping around us.
It's hot outside. Here everything is fresh, everything is soft, everything is slow. Orange blossoms combine their sweet scent with the impertinence of lemon leaves. Cinnamon, soft and divinely scented almond paste, small pine nuts, honey are offered to our taste buds, among other sweet delicacies, on magnificent, finely chiseled silver trays.
I remember this sweetness of life which contrasts with the harshness of a hot climate. For this candle, Fleur de medina will be the name. Orange blossom essential oils, for base notes, will gracefully give way to jasmine. White petals, as delicate and enveloping as the caress of this moment.
Finally, I will orchestrate the resumption of citrus fruits with orange which will confirm the colorful tone of this Moorish fragrance.
